One of Katie’s life philosophies has always been, “Give for the sake of giving, rather than gaining.” She has upheld this in her career in the hospitality/service industry, and for many years in real estate where she believes “people are truly the core of our business.”
Katie is a true local with an intimate knowledge of Ventura and LA Counties, her home of 30+ years. She fell in love with the beautiful coastal Southern California weather, lifestyle and scenery at a young age, while her military father was stationed in Hueneme. Katie has since lived in Port Hueneme, Oxnard, Downtown LA, and Thousands Oaks, and enjoys helping clients who are moving to or within the area find perfect homes.
Her passion for real estate began working as an office manager for a local brokerage firm in agent support, recruiting, training, logistics, as well as strategic planning. Once she completed her real estate license in 2014, she assisted two top producers in that office. Katie oversaw 100+ transactions a year and learned how to technically navigate many different types of deals, from short sales to land, investment properties, first-time home buyers, contingent purchases, and an array of financing options. She also launched a successful property management division, and went on to receive a Military Relocation Specialist designation to assist with military relocations and VA buyers.
In 2018, Katie was selected for the prestigious VCCAR Leadership Academy and graduated from that program. In 2019, she served as the Leadership Development Committee Vice- Chair, and in 2020 will Chair that committee. Her expertise is well-utilized at The Address, serving a diverse clientele with all facets of real estate brokerage.
A graduate of California State University, Northridge, Katie earned a B.S. degree in Family & Consumer Sciences with a minor in Marketing.
Katie leads an active lifestyle, loves to read and travel. She’s a devoted mom to a lovely daughter and volunteers time at her school.
